Competition Team

The Ladies of Cheer will have a chance to show off their skills in the competition arena for 2010-2011.

CONGRATULATIONS WILL BE IN ORDER SOON FOR THE COMPETITIVE TEAM SELECTION.

THERE WERE TOO MANY ADD/DROP/? FOR US TO MAKE  A SELECTION AT THIS TIME.  This is who we have listed thus far:

Alanah, Janele, Taylor, Tess, Briana,Bre Bre, Sydney, Lorraine Danielle B, Rianna, Emily, Kelsey B. Tiffany, Chanel, Cheyenne, Breanne R., Hannah G., Desiree', Bethany, Monica, Shannon, Caitlin, Marquel, Caleigh,  Danielle G., Ashley, Arianna, Jessica, Lauren B., Jordan, and Chelsea K.

If you missed the meeting and your name doesn't appear on the list, please let Coach Taryn or Coach Tonga  ASAP.

 

The staff will need a positive/negative response from everyone, so we can put together a solid team.  We will have 2 Alternates and 20-24 ladies

CONGRATULAIONS FOR A JOB WELL DONE AT YOUR FIRST COMPETITION AND YOUR BID TO NATIONALS!!! 

 

Upcoming Confirmed Practice Schedule - will resume normal Monday and Saturday.

You must be a part of the MCHS Cheer team to be selected for the competition squad.  All selections are final and non negotiable.

We will have a squad consisting of no less than 16 members, but no more than 24.  5 alternates may or may not be selected at the time of tryouts.

A commitment letter of competition dates and fees will be discussed tba in S11 at 5:30p.  Please come and see a preview of what the ladies have been doing.

The Competition shell has been ordered and should arrive within the next 2 weeks.

TODAY’S PRACTICE - TBA

** Please turn in payment for competition tops, if you haven't done so thus far.  We are missing a few payments.  Thank You.***

All competition tops must be returned to avoid paying another $178.  I would ask that you please wash and return them today with your Jamz fee of $32, if you haven't done so already.

February Competition fee for Las Vegas is $150 and will be due next Monday 2/17. Please make checks payable to MCHS Cheer. Thanks

Each of the ladies were given a new competition bow.  If they lose it, the replacement cost is $10.


Music -  CD’s will be passed out to each of the girls for them to practice with? They should burn a copy to their ipods as well.



Make-up....any suggestions?  I would like the girls to all look uniformed.


PRACTICE DAYS - TBA

Saturdays - 10:30 - 12:00 / Bounce (for anyone wishing to improve their tumbling skills - transportation to Bounce (only) will be offered and cheerleaders need to bring money to cover the cost of open gym.($6/hr)

1st payment due at the end of Sept. for $150. An invoice will be sent home for the additional payment for the competition shell. Installment payments will be made in $100 0r $150.

 **Congratulations on being on our 2nd competition squad and be prepared to pave the way of the future of MC.

"GO SUNDEVILS" 

Requirements: a well rounded cheerleader with tumbling, jumps, stunting, motions, and technique.

Additional cost: $500.00 

(this cost is in addition to the $1500 for High School cheer. All cost are approximations and we hope to be way under budget.)
